Miss Mary Oster

Mary Oster lives in Lusby, Maryland, with her parents and her six brothers. She is neighbor and close friend of Commodore Bill and Carolyn Keefe. Mary is a sixth grader at Our Lady Star of the Sea School in Solomons. She is part of her school’s student government and has been on honor roll since fourth grade. She is in advanced math and her favorite subjects are social studies and language arts. Mary plays the flute in her school band.  She is a parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and an altar server.  Mary is an active Girl Scout. She enjoys sports including soccer, running, basketball and biking. Mary can be seen riding her bike around Solomons. She is responsible for her brother’s dog, since he is away at college, and she takes care of her pet chickens.  During her free time, Mary enjoys knitting, crocheting, and reading.  In the summer, Mary loves to tube, canoe, and swim in the creek.
